If murder is illegal, why would making more laws help? I really don't understand. Not trying to stir the pot, I'd like to know?

    • Laws might prevent the sale of instruments of murder on a mass scale, for starters. What laws are you referring to?monospaced
    • It is easier to buy a gun than is to vote. And I'm not even exaggerating!utopian
    • Murder is illegal in Australia too, but because we can't easily access guns, we have a much lower rate of gun-related massacres. That's how it would help.BuddhaHat
    • Right now nothing is being done. Perhaps a law might help, considering nothing else ls?monospaced
    • I’m truly astounded that you posted this question.Ramanisky2
    • @BuddhaHat - If I remember rightly, your gun control in Australia was the result of a mass-shooting incident. If so, at least you fucking learnt.Nairn
    • Actually, so was ours here in Britain too - after the Dunblane Massacre.Nairn
    • Spot on Nairn, once was enough for us. The American psyche is truly twisted sometimes.BuddhaHat
