Firms paying employees 20% less if they work from home
https://www.bbc.com/news/busines…
if they have less expenses, office rental, equipment, utilities, etc and the employees don't waste a couple of hours a day committing back and forth and are more productive at home, surely they should be getting a 20% INCREASE in pay instead?
- Because setting up to work from home is easy and affordable. Everyone has office space, desks, chairs and monitors, plus high speed internet.monospaced
- Holy fuck. Cost me like $10k to set up two home offices and the firm didn’t give anyone shit. Except for raisesmonospaced
- This is why people will quit and move on.monospaced
