IMO this is not rocket science...Elon Musk is the world's richest person, Democrats have proposals for taxing the ultra-wealthy.
Whether they will ever implement them is another question but Dems have at least floated ideas such as a wealth tax that would force billionaires to pay a small percent of their entire wealth every year.
A ProPublica story based on leaked IRS docs showed that Elon Musk's average tax rate was 3%, and in some years he paid nothing at all in taxes.

Tax on billionaires was even considered for inclusion in the social spending bill last year, which failed but came within a couple votes of passing. If you are Elon Musk, who you gonna support?
