It's not the first time but this morning I had to deal with a decapitated rabbit on our sitting room rug.
The cats drag them into the house through the cat flap occasionally.
Sometimes it's just the head missing. Other times they have eaten all but what appears to be an internal organ like the liver or stomach, along with some entrails.
Yesterday, it was a live mouse one of them brought in and let loose in the house. When he eventually caught it again, he chewed the head off and left it there.
Not my favourite way to start the morning but kind of getting used to it.

- I woke up to one of my friends screaming - he had found the graveyard outside the patio - couple rabbit heads, tons of mice. It was kinda gross.canoe
