wondering something...
Poland released those MIGs but NATO and US are rejecting them in fear of Putin gettin' pervy w/his nukes.
The argument is the MIGs will be used to shoot down rassan planes and blow up their tanks which will give the appearance 'we're' fighting rassans...
...sooo ...what are the Javelins and Stingers 'we're' already providing for?! The same thing... yes?
'We' supply the means to destroy their war machines already... what's the difference in adding MIGs?
- it's all about how they are turned over... they can't depart from NATO bases... so they have to be turned over to Ukraine in the same manner as the Javelinsjonny_quest_lives
- and other anti tank weapons countries are supplying them. Ukraine has to take custody of them in a manner in which they don't fly or are delivered directlyjonny_quest_lives
- Pny u know that Ukraine is already fighting with MIGs right? These are the advanced tools that don't require months of training.
and yes nobody wants to add******** - a reason to start ww3.********
- from a NATO base/airfield as that would be a red line/active involvement in the conflict by a NATO member.jonny_quest_lives
- read: https://theweek.com/…********
- so if a Ukrainian trucks pull up to a random warehouse in Poland and pick up the jets in easy to assemble pieces NATO is in the clear.jonny_quest_lives
- Ukrainian Pilots turning up at a NATO airfield to find flight ready jets loaded with fuel would be a big Red Flag...jonny_quest_lives
- same with the requested no fly zone... A no fly zone would need to be enforced by NATO. that would be direct involvement by a NATO members militaryjonny_quest_lives
- selling surplus military hardware and or giving it away is indirect involvement providing Ukraine is not picking the shit up at NATO bases.jonny_quest_lives
- Such a fine line there, j_quest— "out-of-the-box on the runway" =WWIII, "used and requires assembly" =cool. I do get what you're saying though—it's perception.PonyBoy
- it has to be an exercise and not an invasion that's what he is sayin :D********
- @pony diplomacy, peace talks, declarations all about the fine lines... all completely arbitrary. US drop shippingjonny_quest_lives
- Javelins to a Ukrainian shell company in Germany via CIA unmarked plane is totally fine... Flying anUS Air Force Cargo plane to Rammstein full of Javelinsjonny_quest_lives
- not so much but both results are the same.jonny_quest_lives
