  • Free Europe was banned in the USSR,
    a neighbor heard that western music was playing you were reported and police was there on the same day.

  • the radio was confiscated and you were lucky if only that happened.
    ********
  • In the city, but in the countryside, you could listen, no worries. But yeah, this is a strong signal everybody will cut Russia of, even the last radio station
