    I could understand Putin wanting to take Venice, Rome or Lisbon... you know, somewhere sunny with good food and culture.

    But Kiev? It looks cold, lots of ugly soviet depressing apartment blocks and the only famous dish is a dry chicken breast with garlic butter. Putin needs to get out in his yacht more and find some better places to invade.
