What terrifies me is knowing that remembering something from long ago partially includes re-writing that memory, so memories become some Basinski-like obliteration of fact.

Every time you remember something from your past, your current context tinges it.

    Every time.

    Ev-e-ry time.

    Xv-r-ry time.

    Xv-r-ry t&me.

    Xv-r-9y t&me.

    Xv-t-9y t&me.

    Xv-t-9y t&%e.

    Xv-t-9y t&%v.

      ********
    • This feeds into our society collective memory, increasing the chances of making the same mistakes due to not remembering collective facts, at an alarming rate.

    • All I know is that the fish gets longer.
      Or shorter.

      Or just, you know, dies.
