    In defense of NFTs

After my recent incursion into theNFT world I have made a 360 degree turn and reconsidered my position. Although it's only been a few days, I have already contributed several pieces and started building a collection I can feel proud of.

In the NFT marketplace, instead of having curators impose their choices on you, you can be the curator of your life and choose your own pieces guided by your personal experience and sensibility. Instead of wasting time and money in museums or galleries you can spend it on the NFT sphere with all the art at your fingertips, from the comfort of your home. For the price of a museum entrance you can buy several artworks and support fellow artists so they can pursue their valuable contributions to the artworld. Instead of building up the reputation of some dead artist or you can contribute to the development of new art currents. In the conventional artworld all you get is the experience, that you can Instagram at best, while with NFTs you can take the actual work home with you.

Don't let the government waste our hard earned tax dollars on crumbling public institutions for the masses. We can use that money to build our own ideal of art. Don't let others dictate what is best for you. Take back control, private ownership is the best tool against their communist agenda. And we can do all this together on the internet, the truly egalitarian environment.

    • aren´t you imprecise or brainwashed when your write .. buying several artworks... when you only buy the token and not the artwork.neverscared
    • The NFT (token) is the art. I've been saying this from day one.palimpsest
    • Totally fucking MexicoBluejam
    • yes.. but there in the text on the left it clearly says buying the artwork and not buying the token of the artwork.neverscared

    • "buy several artworks"
      Explanation:
      You can buy several NFTs.
      The
      NFT
      is
      the
      art.
      palimpsest
    • What is the artwork for you?
      For me:
The artwork = the art = the token = the NFT.
      palimpsest
    • The NFT is the work of art is the artwork is the art.palimpsest
    • If you can't understand geometry how can you can understand NFTs?palimpsest
    • the nft is the token registration attached to your artwork you buy an can sell .. it has nuffin to do with artistic creation ..neverscared
    • just a transaction and registration with the blockchain no ?neverscared
    • i am pretty good at understanding pointtopologies and geometry since i studied architecture i think.neverscared
    • and do 3d modelling and rendering .. so better dont come to me with not understand geometry.neverscared
    • LOL
      Trust me.

But did you study architecture, tho?
      palimpsest
    • 360 turns gets you to nowhere a little later .... true studying architecture makes u design stuff with bricks with perfectly precise geometry but not shitneverscared
    • bricks...neverscared
    • so i still dont know what shit means.. they dont teach that at university.neverscared
    • You can lead a horse to water, but there's no point in beating it once it's dead.palimpsest
    • there´s also not a point of beating it when its alive... except your are flipping cruel monsters...neverscared
    • I sit astride life like a bad rider on a horse. I only owe it to the horse’s good nature that I am not thrown off at this very moment.neverscared
    • u c i told you we aren´t through ... LOLneverscared
    • dont get me wrong, in case u are mocking me .. i´am not saying i have a better understanding of geometry than you ..but just a state of the art one.neverscared
    • lol, u horsebeater running in circles :D
@neverscared yeah i forgot about time, like anybody who philosophizes about NFT.

    • its little offensive to call me a guy who inflicts violence on animals with interations. but i excuse it with your low level of neuron capacity.neverscared
    • No offense but the “collection” looks like a 4-year old’s crappy sticker book or a really bad POG collection. What are you proud of, exactly? Is this satire?scarabin
