About 24 hours after apologizing and promising to “have all the pertinent facts at hand” when discussing the coronavirus pandemic, Spotify podcaster Joe Rogan tweeted and then deleted an incorrect story about the drug ivermectin.

    Oops!

    • That his problem. his is always cherrypicking facts so it fits his narrative, but doesn't have to patience to wait for actual facts. What a tool.tank02
    • a lot of things will kill omicron in vitro. petrol, fire, ivermectin ... all 3 and you're guaranteed covid-freekingsteven
    • he is so flipping dumb.. embarrising for a society that a steroid burger gains so much cultural power ...neverscared
    • Rogan is far from being stupid! I think that he's extremely impulsive, has a Napoleon complex, narcissistic and suffers from Borderline personality disorder.utopian

    • puny impulse control is an essential part of stupidity ...doesn´t speak for a cerebral powerhouse if he is always delievering unbalanced actions.neverscared
    • if you nay-sayers had even one ounce of self-respect, you would look up mata-data studies that show the drug IS effective.pr2
    • but of course people like you do not have any self respect nor skills to navigate reality of science papers.pr2
    • How did that lobotomy work out for you?utopian
    • Bravo to you man-child for mastering the word!pr2
    • I believe "meta analysis" is the word you're looking for, not mata-data.yuekit
    • But the credible meta analyses that are out there don't show any clear benefit, so that's exactly the issue.yuekit
    • The drug works, the studies prove it. One debunked study doesn't change dozens that show it works.pr2
    • It's not one study....read this series of articles.

    • Of course poorly run, fraudulent studies don't prove a negative... i.e. that it doesn't work... but saying it's been proven is totally wrong.yuekit

    • If they admit that therapeutics like ivermectin and hcq work then the VaXxx cant get a EUA. Simples.Brabo_Brabo
    • Yes, Brabadobadopoo that's how this works. The entire million+ person industry decides to cover it all up so pharma CEOs get rish. Simple. Dumbfuck.mathinc
    • (some of) the pharma money gets returned by way of campaign contributions.Brabo_Brabo
