    So every single time I open twitter (4/5 times a day) I get a notifications red dot. Click on it. And it's always some random un remarkable tweet from someone I follow or even don't.

    I've turned of every imaginable type of notification option but still it goes on.

    Is it just me? Am I missing something? Is this just how Twitter works for everyone to get you to engage more?
