My 4 y/o picked one of these and I got obsessed with them. They’re called “Pui Pui Molang”; a japanese stop motion animations show found in Youtube, and based on what I’ve read, also appearing on Japanese TV channels.
Pui Pui are a bunch of cars with Guinea Pigs bodies. Apparently, the creator is a 25 y/o guy. The short episodes represent the lives of those guinea pig cars, who live inside some sort of diorama. There are also human figurines, which are also stop motion animated, and they even use photographs of cats and peoples faces sometimes.
I don’t think these are essy to produce, and it really made me wonder how tf is the show profitable.

Molang & Piu Piu is another show.palimpsest - they make money. at least the show producers + investors. Directors etc, usually just on average salary and very small % profit share.shapesalad
