Thinking back to all the people who tried to argue that a conservative supermajority on SC is totally fine, these are the top legal minds in the country, they respect precedent and won't make radical moves like this. But you just need to know a little bit about the conservative legal movement to understand this has been their #1 goal for decades.
Unfortunately I think it's probably inevitable that they will make this ruling...too much pressure not to when they are so close to the big prize...even though it will result in even more social division and "America in decline" narratives.
