I'm sorry that a) I didn't take a photo of this prior to the addition of shitty tag beneath and b) I didn't use a phone with a decent camera, but wahey.
This is nearby and was, 'til the tag was added, a sublime wee detail to pass on my way home for a week or so. Now it's covered in shit. Oh well.
The 'wall' is a wood partition that is covered in grafitti and then painted over in black and then painted over in grafitti and.. you get the picture. I'm practically on first-name terms with one of the painters who comes every n months to paint back over it... .
Anyway, during one such paint over, a sign that had been long-since added was pulled off, revealing this small swatch of long-since retired grafitti art, and I fucking loved the idea. If I was less lazy and encumbered by the strictures of time, I'd seek to replicate the concept elsewhere. Even cheeseball shit like taking a small detail from the Mona Lisa or whatever, rendered practical gra, woudl be cool (was thinking of 4 stencils covering CMYK, or here on a dark background, perhaps just CMY)
