hehe, I recently got invited by a client to be flown to Seattle, at their expense ! :), for a project meeting. I was really excited, you konw, it was a kind of milestone having left a secure corporate job and gone it on my own in design, now I was beeing flown 100's of miles to be 'the expert' - I was chuffed to bits.
Only...the night before I was due to leave, I decided to 'tidy up' my own hair using the Wahl clippers. I clicked them on and started neatening up the sides, got my neckline right, and was creatively thinning the top bit and moving towards the front when for some unkonwn reason, my arm had a spasm and I went down to the skin right at the front.
ZZzzzzzZZZZ!!! it said as a big chunk of hair floated gaily to the floor, leaving a 3 inch bald strip in the middle of my head. I tried a bit of a comb-over and some blank marker but it looked crap.
Always use the guards when cutting your hair with those things.
