Interview went well but when we got to salary we were way off. They suggested that I take the weekend to ponder but I'd be taking 1/2 salary and adding a commute. Sadly, my dream to leave remains just that.

- In today's market I now ask for salary range on the first call. If they refuse to tell me, I tell them my range and I consider it a red flag.********
