idunno..
i'm such a huge fan of that movie..
saw it in the theatre when it first came out...
(which kinda dates me a bit)
as much as i like the directors cut, i still totally love the voiceover..sure it's corny, sure, sure, sure..
but thats the beauty of it..
it kinda reinforces the whole bogart-film noir vibe..
specially that opening.."They don't advertise for killers in the newspaper. That was my profession. Ex-cop. Ex-blade runner. Ex-killer."
total genius..
so melodramatic, yet so awesome...if you ever want to see where the art direction of that movie was born, you MUST look up 'the air tight garage' by moebius
different story, but the feel of it, the noir detective vibe and moebius's art is what fuled bladerunner...
(and since he art-directed the movie...i guess that makes sense...)
