Hey crew - if anyone is in Tokyo Oct. 28th - Nov. 3rd, stop by TRUNK HOTEL for our second edition of CRYPTOKYO.
It'll be a smaller NFT exhibit, but should be a blast!
The showcase work will be "KING HIRO" by Tadaomi Shibuya.
It's a portrait of Hiro Fujita, a pretty famous creative director from McCann here in Tokyo who has ALS.The MISSION:
http://end-als.com/mission.htmlAs his body functions deteriorated, he wanted to start an awareness foundation for the disease and we're hoping to spread the word upon showing the piece.
It was presented to Hiro by P.H.A.S.E.2 - a prominent graffiti artist from NYC who died of ALS in 2019.
Besides the main work, there will be a ton of other great artists showing. I will be showing the latest work from my DOORS series. If you download the artivive app, you can see the AR experience - been exploring this feature and hope to do more work in that space in the future.
