k, so I'll preface this by stating this isn't entirely 'Brexit-related' but I just got an updated price list of materials I regularly stock, as I'd lost the last couple of invoices and hadn't gotten around to updating my costs spreadhseet (clever) and fucking hell, the prices have gone up another 30% .. in the last two months. It's crazy. Price of a sheet of 6mm plywood has essentially more than doubled since the end of last year.

My clients ultimately pay for it, but fucking hell if it's not going to make regulars do a double take and likely shop around to check.

    • No Brexit related, I think so. All my friends working on industry, have long complained about the increase in all prices...OBBTKN
    • Wood, steel, inox, electronics...OBBTKN
    • Yeah, there's been rumblings of discontent across Europe and N.America for a while - I doubt recent events here in Blighty have helped much, mind :\Nairn
    • It's more that Brexit is terribly - or, to look at it another way - perfectly - timed. Hopefully some here will see it's better to be part of something bigger..Nairn
    • ..when all the forces of Shit align to dump themselves upon us. So stupid. Aaaanyway.Nairn
    • I was painting a fancy office at the start of the year and some furniture they'd ordered were taking a couple of months more to come from Europe.PhanLo
    • Apparently the Suez boat thing slowed up supply too.PhanLo
