    Genuine question...
So people with garages and driveways, or people with an underground parking spot etc. it's fairly easy to have a source to charge your vehicle whenever you need. But for people with random street parking or similar situations, what's the plan? Are cities just going to install receptacles and rapid charges up and down every street?

What about people with only street parking in front of their home; will every home have an extension cord running from their house over the sidewalk and to their car?

    • I have underground parking spot however I am not sure that my neighbours would be happy if I charge my car from public electricitydpi

    • Why would you need to charge at home though? People manage pumping their gas at stations.palimpsest

    • I could imagine people shagging those charging points in the UKPhanLo
    • @palimpsest, well when we can fully charge a vehicle in less than 5 minutes like filling up with gasoline, let me know.ETM
    • The wireless charging mats are cool. But for random street parking, that would mean cities tearing up streets and installing these everywhere.ETM
    • @ETM the public light network holds the key to your problem :)
