  Living in the country, cow pats were always an interesting test for kids coming out from town. There was the "can i pick this up and frisbee it?" test and then after that the "do they realise this one's only crunchy on the outside?" test. The latter usually resulted in someone's shoe or bottom getting covered in wet cow shit.
