Assange's lawyer: outrageous and shameful
"As an American citizen, I find it absolutely outrageous and shameful that our government could have contemplated the kidnapping or murder of someone (Assange) without trial simply for telling the truth by releasing genuine information," one of Assange's lawyers, Barry Pollack, commented on the report.
He therefore hoped that these shocking developments would be examined by that British court that decides whether to extradite Assange to the US. The US accuses Assange of violations of the Espionage Act for helping former soldier Chelsea Manning publish US state secrets.
