https://helpx.adobe.com/fonts/kb…So my Linotype Collection that was an investment at the time just got basically useless for Adobe products.
also probably a timeline...as I booted Indesign in a long time
- "PostScript fonts are font files encoded in outline font specifications developed by Adobe Systems for professional digital typesetting."shapesalad
- This is dumb. If a vendor I work with doesn't support a font, I can convert to outlines or rasterize. If I need unicode support, I can choose another fontakiersky
- This is like deprecating support for JPEG'sakiersky
- @uan would converting fonts to another format be allowed under the copyright? Could use something like FontForge to save them in another format perhapsakiersky
- I can work around it. it just sucks they come out of the blue and decide their products don't support their specs no more. it's ridiculous.uan
