although i watched a bit, and laughed a fair bit too, i was struck at the massive difference between the american version, and the canuck one..
(not don't you crazy kids turn this into a dis fest)
the american one, (which we were all wathing last night) is a perfect example of train wreck TV...you weren't watching to wish them luck, or to root them on...it was, simply to laugh your asses off at the losers, the pathetic, the crazys, the desperate wannabes...
    i watched too, i laughed to..but it's kinda sad, isn't it?

the canuck version, well, you still get some wackos...but theres a weeding out process invloved...by the time they do their auditions to the three judges, it's mostly the ones with real talent left..
    and thats the difference..
its not as nasty, there's a lot less cruel remarks to the kids...
but there is a ton more positiveness, and optimism..it's focused more on the positive side, the joy of performing, and doing your best, type thing..than being focused on the negative energy of losing, and being ridiculed..

once again, just an observation..any one else notice this?
