Do you have any friends in puppetry? They'd be good to ask.
I used to know a couple of people who are 'quite big in the UK puppetry scene' (lol) but I've not had much contact with them in a few years, but this is exactly the sort of side project they'd take on to cover the bills. Surprisingly, puppetry isn't the huge money-churning industry most of us assume it is... .
