This thing with "unless you're vaccinated you can't come in" is getting out of hand.

It will divide societies even further, in the middle of a pandemic which is already out of hand increasing inequalities worldwide

I'm all for getting vaxxed and stoping this, but a choice is a choice. I have no problem dining in a restaurant with people that are not vaccinated. It's their risk, not mine - anymore. But at least we don't look at each other with hate over dinner thinking whois better.

Was bad enough before not getting in a club 'cuz maybe you weren't cool enough, but now? It's getting ridiculous.

Idk, just saying, my 2 cents, as I see increasing news from all over the world about bans on people that don't get vaccinated.

    • how about fat people / unhealthy old / peeps with conditions - stay home, as they are the ones more likely to die from covid?shapesalad
    • It seems in the US that if Dems go this route now, they will lose again to a GOP nut job in 2024 because of this approach. Use science, not politics to beat it.

    • vaccines are a science. either we all rapidly get vaxxed, or.. with say 70% peeps vaxxed, it's leaves enough space for a super virus to mutate out.shapesalad
    • The same in Europe, France, Germany will see increased protests and instability because of these "ban antivaxxers" policies.

    • especially if people are slow to take up the vax. it needs everyone vaxed within 6 months max, across the globe, to be of any real benefit.shapesalad
    • @shape Delta variant increasingly targets young people, which ironically are the least willing to get vaccinated! It's real bad.

    • Agreed, but then again, I'm not willing to risk worldwide political and social stability over a virus - a bad one yes, but curable

    • @shape with "use science to beat it" I meant use better strategies to fix the pandemic, not the most easy and fast ones or "politically-light"?

    • I see they're starting to give cash incentives to get vaccinated now lol

    • As someone who has kids who can't get vaxed (10 months) I strongly disagree. I'll all for people choosing their own path, but they need to accept the ...robotinc

    • Also, for what its worth, the supreme court already ruled in favor of mandatory vaccinations: https://en.wikipedia…robotinc
