  as much as i love the olympic games themselves, the IOC has made it difficult to support them over the years.

  this, having the games completely free of people only to fulfill advertising contracts during a global pandemic, is tragic at best. i'm trying to enjoy what i'm watching, but the entire circumstance of it all is so ... somewhere between sad and disturbing.
