Glassell Park is a small neighborhood near Mount Washington and Highland Park that I love and is worth checking out
I just moved to Glendale just east of the 5 freeway from Los Feliz. I hit balls at Griffith Park driving range a stone's throw away.
I was able to get into a new building for a killer price in Glendale during in June 2020. I had a checklist of things I needed to downsize from a house to an apartment in a post pandemic world and one thing was gated parking, fob access only to elevators, and hallways that were open air and not enclosed, centrail air/heat, dishwasher, washer dryer in unit, and some amenities whenever they opened for use. I wanted a two bedroom and two bathroom that also allowed dogs which narrowed my choices on the east side with all listed above. I basically searched from Pasadena to Studio City. it was a bonus that it had never been lived in before and a 10 minute drive from my previous residence in Glassell Park.
