Mac for 3D?
Latest MBPro M1 any good?
- Light 3D stuff, mostly for web...********
- I don’t think there’s a good Mac for 3D right now. without a big dedicated gpu they are crippled in that regardmonospaced
- What’s new? The M1 falls apart as soon as you ask it to do graphics. Modeling it’s okay because that usually single thread cpu. After that nah.monospaced
- Oh no.********
- really wanted to avoid using Windows********
- @mono older 16" MBPro with Intel? With the best GPU available on it?
For Cinema 4D? Zbrush?******** - Zbrush uses CPU more right?********
- So for 3-4K you get an entry level Pro machine in stock, but for custom orders you need to way a month. Fuck Apple.********
- A maxed out Intel Mac will work, but not as well as a cheaper Windows machine with a good video card.monospaced
- Maxed out Mac it is then! Fuck Windoz.********
- I wouldn't spend thousands on a MacBook Pro that will be replaced within months with a far superior machine.monospaced
- Best idea is to wait for the next gen M chips, you know that.monospaced
- Even older MBPs suck for 3D. AMD cards are not that great, and Apple never uses good GPUs.monospaced
