At 45, every activity that isn't sitting in a room being miserable, is seen as a "midlife crisis", by cynical douchebags.
Oh well. Ignoring cynical douchebags is a new thing you'll have to do for the rest of your life, from now on. If you insist on activities others than sitting in a room being miserable.
