"Anyone here make any money from NFT's at all" -QBN

If you grandpas would stop getting triggered over NFTs for 2 seconds and pay attention, yer man 2 posts up sold 22 NFTs over the weekend, and the traffic from the #HENthousand event was so massive it broke the site for 5 hours from ppl buying NFTs.

    LOL @ you, Grandpa Forum

"you kids and your NFTs..." *shakes fist

    • Some people manage to make money selling bags of their own piss, but I'm not really sure how much value I'd attribute to that either. Good for them, of course.Nairn
    • Cool story. Let's talk about 99% of people who sold nothing and got buttbanged by minting costsbabydick
    • The NFT space is just not tilted in the favor of independent/ young artists just starting out. You have players like Joshua Davis who have been mining ethereumjonny_quest_lives
    • for years with their network of like minded crypto friends who will and do probably make money. If you have no network/ amplification/hype social media skillsjonny_quest_lives
    • as an emerging artist it's probably better to focus on more traditional art sales rather than burning money on minting fees in the hopes of small returns.jonny_quest_lives
    • Just crunching the numbers its definitely a pay to play scheme... Fees on top of fees. Better to let established artists use their brands to fight this out.jonny_quest_lives
    • if u enjoy stuff that runs on ponzi shemes and destroys the enviromennt i.d say go for it...neverscared
    • I make more money selling my work by the hour though.monospaced
    • 22/10,000 editions? Sadmonospaced
    • ^^Some people don't have that option though. Think of someone in venezuela who happens to know some design- this could be their only way to not starve.cherub
    • Mono I make more money too 9-5 and freelancing at night. I do art while others would prefer to veg and watch Netflix. Where is the 'lose' in this?microkorg
