I was undecided between Atom and Brackets and I chose Brackets.
I'm very happy.
Before I tried Vim but was really not for me and also used Gedit.
- I'm still on Atom. What do you like about Brackets?dbloc
- Others at my work use VS Codedbloc
- ouch just saw this on the website.
On September 1, 2021, Adobe will end support for Brackets. If you would like to continue using, maintaining, and improving Brdbloc - fucking helloey_oey
- I like it cause it's simple, works well and it doesn't feel heavy. I was hoping for some sort of integration with Illustrator and Photoshop.oey_oey
- Also, I was starting to use it than I did a 6 months webdesign training and they were using it as main text editor which just helped me to get better on itoey_oey
- I don't want to use Microsoft!!! LOL!oey_oey
- I guess it's Atom then. If it works with the browser! Honestly i liked the principle behind it, Brackets was just easier to start with.oey_oey
- Atom is lightweight, it is built with JS and the Chrome interface, it feels like a web app but it's very good, astonishing. I don't use it with a browser soi_was
