Does anyone use Luno as a platform to buy/sell/keep cryptos?
The reason I ask is I had a pizza last night from Papa Johns and (in the UK) they have a special offer running in conjunction with Luno that gives £10 worth of Bitcoin free with the meal. I already have a Coinbase account, so I thought I might as well claim it and move it over there.
But when I downloaded the app and opened an account to claim it, I saw there were a couple of options for storing Bitcoin. One of which was a 'Bitcoin Savings Wallet'. You store you BTC in there & then you are loaning your coins to investment partners and Luno pay (a targeted) 4% interest into your account. Plus your coins still track the increases/decreases of the market.
Has anyone else used this wallet? Or a similar wallet elsewhere?
BTW, If anyone wants to claim a free tenner in BTC, I have a referal code for the platform:
8UP5UE
- Mode app gives 5% for holdingshapesalad
- 'a free tenner' if you add £100 of BTC to your Luno account (exc their fees).
Boo.Nairn - Are these the guys who advertise "If you're reading about crypto on the side of a bus, it's time to get involved" or somesuch?Nairn
- @Nairn Was that the deal for the referral code? Sorry, I didn't look at the Ts&Cs.Wolfboy
