Who cares about the ethernet on the power brick? one less cable reaching the desk is good in my opinion. Plus that power brick means no internal power supply, something else that might break is now easily replaceable.

    • I've gone through three PSUs over my many years, more than any other singular component. The Amiga had an external PSU. It stays.Nairn
    • eh, I've gone through many PSUs over th years - I meant: I've had three PSUs blow out on me. Probably easy to fix, but blegh.Nairn
    • Honestly, considering most ethernet is coming through the wall near an outlet anyway, this makes some sense. Less cables going out the back too.monospaced
    • Also, if they do the same for the laptops, then people don't need to use a USB-C port to ethernet adapter.monospaced
    • I’m ok with this too. One less cable on my deskGnash
