in the last 5 days have moved 3.5k worth of equipment..
pretty much dug myself out of the hole I dug with modular in the same period.was a little sad to sell my Octatrack MK2.. but given I still have a MK1 .. it just seemed overkill.
also it was purchased cheap in Berlin a few years ago, so still made a good 500 profit..picked up a Varigate 4+ and a MI Rings today second hand.
it's dangerous.
- its weird tho, feels like I have just spent all this time building this studio and now I am just attacking it with a machete..autoflavour
- but at the same time, some of these shiny things have been greatly under utilised.. so maybe its a good thing to flip them.autoflavour
- Hearing this makes me think I shouldn’t touch modular with a barge pole, knowing my personality. Appreciate the warning!mort_
- kinda the point i was trying to make with the patch bay stuff auto. gotta keep your gear in a state of flux or it becomes furniture. (much like my modular atm)kingsteven
- fuck it sometimes you just gotta do it. ive sold gear before ive never even touched but had a big idea at somepoint of it helping make the perfect setup.microkorg
