Any of you Logic Pro user have a ton of third-party plugins but prefer any particular Logic Pro default plugins instead?

Since upgrading to the Mac mini m1, I need to upgrade some Waves compressors and other plug-ins, but don't know if I wan't to spend money on most of them. I LOVE the Schepps 73 channel strip so that's a must have, but I've lately been using the Logic compressors since they have side-chaining; some of the Waves compressors don't.

Anything in Logic you really love?

    • Do you use the Bitcrusher at all? It's an excellent overdrive. I usually use it in full 24 bit mode without any bitcrushing.section_014
    • space designer 'old forest long' is a great sounding IR. its also great for giving clean signals a room recorded sound with early reflections, just knock yourkingsteven
    • envelope down on a room reverb so it's just the first few ms of reflection and HP out all the body, mix at 2%.kingsteven
    • also, you can reduce the quality of the IR, fantastic for lofi and spooky reverbs. own a ton of reverbs and still use space designer more.kingsteven
    • the compressor is great on VCA mode, simple synth is great, tape delay (since they added the spread mode) - still use a bunch but Gain tops the list :Dkingsteven
