Devoted my day to converting to the M1 Mac mini, and running into the following issues in which I'm trying to decide if these are critical in the short-term or if I can hold out for definitive compatibility:

    - Soundtoys - totally incompatible ATM. I use Sie-Q and/or Radiator on most tracks so that sucks. Can get by without Echo-Boy; haven't been using that on WIP tracks lately.
    - Addictive Drums 2 - this is a tough one. It's supposed to be compatible, it's been updated on my computer, but it's not launching in Logic Pro.
    - Waves plugins - they've updated everything for the most part, but I'm two versions behind and the V12 updates are the ones that work with Big Sur. Lately I've only been using Schepps 73 and their guitar amp emulator (fantastic plugin, btw). I have a bunch of their compressors, but I've gravitated to Logic's compressor simply because of the side-chaining, which not all Waves plugins do.
    - Spitfire Audio Labs - this might just be a matter of not running their updater properly, it's supposed to work but keeps throwing arrows. Labs is essential.

    • m1 + audio software is a nightmare. the industry runs on decades of vst's.inteliboy
    • OK, all is working now except Soundtoys.
      :)
