this blame the victim thing is bullshit. "What did she expect" is the kind of crap that men used to say about sexy women who were raped
I have first hand experience with victims of abuse and it is truly damaging and real. Just saying 'they should leave' is so glib

What reason does a successful actress have to come out and do this? Then a bunch of other women?
Of course it all needs to be looked at objectively. But there is no upside to a victim coming out like this, except to:
- Heal for themselves...because abusive relationship are toxic and hard to get over
- Prevent it from happening to othersYou think all these women got together and just said 'let's fuck up MM, we just don't like him!'
The example of that is Tara Reade, who accused Biden. The details were looked into, and it was clear that her allegations did not hold up. So it can happen.....but that does not appear to be the case here.
A lot of women, corroboration....the pushback is weak.

And the fact that Dita von Teese came out and said that was not her experience does not invalidate the claims. Think about what she said about why she left him, after a year of marriage:
