oh man...i dont want to get caught up in the tension, but whatever you get, make sure the screen is UXGA for your 1600x1200 viewing pleasures. It makes all standard mac and pc lcd desktop and laptop, and even CRTS, look like shit! No matter what OS you're on. The OS is all up to prefs you want.
