The new Mackie Onyx mixers look interesting for small synth / drum machine studios. Multi-track streaming into your DAW over USB. I know there are other mixers that do this but not 24 tracks for ~ $800. Wondering how the A/D converters might compare with my Focusrite Clarett converters.

- I've been eyeing up the Softube Console 1 + Fader as an alternative to an analogue mixer and think it's probably the better way to go.mort_
