    Volume on my iPhone XR calls is very low...can't for the life of me find anything to help this. I can hardly hear on many occasions...and no, it's not my hearing - have tried on other phones and it's fine. All volume controls all the way up but still garbage.

    Anyone offer any tips before I book an appointment at Geeny-arse bar?

      If I put it on speaker, it's OK. But if I answer and put it to my ear, the volume is very low.      BusterBoy
    • This happened on my old iPhone 8. I think it might be hardware related.monospaced
    • The speakers all seemed clean...I stuffed some blu tak in them and pulled out...seems to be a bit louder now I think?BusterBoy
    • Make sure you haven't limited it:

      Open up the Settings app. Head down to Music > Volume Limit.      Centigrade
    • I've had this with an iphone. Took it to a shop and they cleared out the gunk in the speaker for £10. Sorted.Hayzilla

    • Might be that stupid Hearing volume level thing they just added, which lowers volume if you've been listening too loud so you don't go deaffyoucher1
