    So... I've got this MacBook Pro (late 2013) w/ 2.6GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, 16gig of RAM

    Do I update to Big Sur?

    I'm scared... this is my only machine for the moment and I've heard a couple of horror stories from 'friends in the field' (mind you - they were from folks who do NOT maintain their gear / apps regularly and they're always complaining about something not working right... but STILL... I'm scared ) :(
