Thinking about getting Google Stadia.
I have about 250 Mbps download speeds. It seems you only need about 30-50 Mbps to run it smoothly?
Anyone with Stadia, what’s your internet speed?
- Never mind I just saw they had Immortals Fenxy Rising as a demo and it runs perfectly. Didn’t notice any lag at all.NBQ00
- I’m doing the Stadia Pro trial. Pretty impressed that you get so many free games (like Destiny 2, Hitman 2, etc) with it.NBQ00
- I didn't know about Stadia 1 month ago and absolutely love it today. Incredible to play Cyberpunk, Far Cry 5, RDR2 this way.spl33nidoru
- It’s a pity it only streams in 16:9. For now I don’t play it on a HD TV but on iPad Pro and iMac in a browser and it has black letterboxes.NBQ00
- Same but that doesn’t bother mespl33nidoru
- That seems like a really odd limitation - surely each session is bespoke-rendered, so why limit resolution?
oy Vey, Google.Nairn - Because its streaming a video and for now they can’t stream separate video formats for any type of device so I guess it’s a standard 16:9 ratio for HDTV’sNBQ00
- And what do you mean bespoke-rendered? The game is real time off their servers and streaming to you to any device.NBQ00
- Yes, so 'bespoke rendered'.Nairn
- Google Stadia? how bout get a job so you can get a real gaming platformGuyFawkes
- Google Stadia's gonna be in Utopians Google graveyard in less than a year.GuyFawkes
- Maybe I use Stadia exactly because I have a job and don’t want to be cluttered with a console and stuff but like to keep it all in the cloud to play whereverNBQ00
- And for my usage Stadia Pro is perfect, it works great and they just announced 400 more titles and 200 more devs for 2021. Far from dead. Just starting.NBQ00
- I feel sorry for peeps in the US because they have shitty broadband with bandwidth caps. But where I am it’s great and unlimited.NBQ00
