Again, for the people in the back!
Population of USA: 328 million
Eligible voters: 239 millionVotes for Trump: 74 million
Votes for Biden: 81 millionSo, really about 23% of the country voted for Trump.
Want to count only eligible voters? Ok, then 31% of eligible voters voted for Trump.
That’s it. Please stop tagging “half the country” with your wild claims.
Also it should go without saying, but some percentage of Trump voters would not be crazy conspiracy theorists or even maga fanatics. It would stand to reason that many of these people just voted based on family history, religion, pro-life stance, false hopes of lower taxes, false hopes of returning factory jobs, fear of changing presidents mid-crisis, etc.
Your media bubble is telling you that half the country is insane magahat wearing idiots. It’s bullshit.

- 31%. Then take into account single issue voters, and lifelong conservatives. It goes lower and lower how many people actually care about Trump.DRIFTMONKEY
- yep, bit of insight into why:

- OK, fine. I live here, and it feels like 49% are grifters or marks.allthethings
- Just because a lot of people in America don’t vote doesn’t mean they don’t have an opinion. Polls consistently showyuekit
- that about 40-45% of the country supports Trump. That’s slightly lower than he got in the election but it’s stillyuekit
- close to half.yuekit
