You get hired as a freelancer to design some web banners and ads for a company. Brief mentions only one time use nothing in your contract says otherwise.
Company says they love it and use them and want to adapt the ads to be a whole campaign.
They have inhouse designer work on adapting them.
Can you ask for more money?
- They have no right to use the art without paying for it. At all.monospaced
- This happened to me once. I ended up getting thousands to send over my original art. If they don’t pay they are full on stealing.monospaced
- If they didn't include a clause in your contract that transfers your copyrights to them just let them know how much it costs to use your work.zarkonite

- Make your choice carefully. You may jeopardise future projects if you start playing hardball. It may be worth having a conversation with the person who....Morning_star

- ...When they commission you again change you contract to cover the work you’ve lost this time. Learn from the experience and don’t burn bridges.Morning_star
