    Is there any audio experts in here?

    Here's my setup :

    PC > 3.5 mm audio jack cable > Fiio Alpen2 DAC > AKG K171 M2

    My problem, I have a buzzing/static sound in my headphones. Even when I touch the palm of my hand with the audio jack, it makes a static noise, like a jack from an electric guitar, yknow.

    Any ideas how to fix that?

    • Just found it! The USB cable that was powering the DAC was the culprit! My DAChave a battery so I just need to run it on the battery. Problem solvedBennn
    • might want to replace the DAC with a usb audio interface. most are super cheap now.futurefood
    • yeah, maybe, but it work fine now, so no need to spend for the moment :)Bennn
    • how are you powering the DAC? from the computer? USB powered devices very very rarely like being powered from PC as there is so much noise. Worse with laptopsautoflavour
    • try powering it directly from a phone charger or somethingautoflavour
