Bored of the X1 after 3 years as I've always had fun sporty cars.
Currently lusting over a Golf R Estate and trying to raise the extra cash needed ;)

A great 4wd (when needed) family car that you can fit all the shopping and a couple of prams in.

Oh, and it does 0-60mph in 5.1s.
It's 80kg heavier than the standard Golf R which does it in 4.9s)

Every review of this car sings it's praises. But drivers might not like the Auto DSG gearbox. Personally think that VW make THE best auto boxes - has one in a Scirocco.

    • Testdrove a Mk7 Facelift model a few weeks ago. Man that thing pops and gurgles when in Race mode!microkorg
    • Great choice.dpi
    • Drove one for a test. Didn't like it very much. It def. is a good car, but I just realized I am too old for it. (Fake exhaust farts are just not my thing.)Longcopylover
    • I am going back to my roots and looking for an Alfa Romeo GTA Sportswagon. It's way slower but I love its engine sound and the oldschool stickshift.Longcopylover
    • yep those old alfas are the bombhans_glib
    • Not a huge fan of the cars breathing noises coming through the speakers either but the exhaust does actually pop n gurgle too ;)microkorg
    • A friend thats got a 2007 Subaru Legacy Sti had me checking out old scoobies. If I was just a car for ME and not the family I'd have a Subaru Forester Sti ...microkorg
    • ..complete with noisey Genome exhaust on there :)microkorg
    • Hah, looked at a sporty Forester too. But there isn't a good one left around my place. Go for it. :)Longcopylover
