Bored of the X1 after 3 years as I've always had fun sporty cars.
Currently lusting over a Golf R Estate and trying to raise the extra cash needed ;)A great 4wd (when needed) family car that you can fit all the shopping and a couple of prams in.
Oh, and it does 0-60mph in 5.1s.
It's 80kg heavier than the standard Golf R which does it in 4.9s)Every review of this car sings it's praises. But drivers might not like the Auto DSG gearbox. Personally think that VW make THE best auto boxes - has one in a Scirocco.
- Testdrove a Mk7 Facelift model a few weeks ago. Man that thing pops and gurgles when in Race mode!microkorg
- Great choice.dpi
- Drove one for a test. Didn't like it very much. It def. is a good car, but I just realized I am too old for it. (Fake exhaust farts are just not my thing.)Longcopylover
- I am going back to my roots and looking for an Alfa Romeo GTA Sportswagon. It's way slower but I love its engine sound and the oldschool stickshift.Longcopylover
- yep those old alfas are the bombhans_glib
- Not a huge fan of the cars breathing noises coming through the speakers either but the exhaust does actually pop n gurgle too ;)microkorg
- A friend thats got a 2007 Subaru Legacy Sti had me checking out old scoobies. If I was just a car for ME and not the family I'd have a Subaru Forester Sti ...microkorg
- ..complete with noisey Genome exhaust on there :)microkorg
- Hah, looked at a sporty Forester too. But there isn't a good one left around my place. Go for it. :)Longcopylover
