Now that all our grandparents are dead, we're making great progress!^ Fuck this attitude. We're not making great progress, we're waiting for a vaccine to save us. Deaths per case ratio has gone down because a lot of our most vulnerable people are in the ground (or more likely stacked in a truck behind the hospital.)
Over 10,000 people died of covid LAST WEEK in the states. Assuming rates stay about the same, we'll have more covid deaths in one month than the flu kills on a bad year. And it's not even winter yet.
