To NB above – this is such good advice. I remember a similar situation i was in a while ago. I spent every hour hammering away at Squarespace making a new site, and meeting with people, taking calls and getting my contacts out there.
The main thing for me was that the amount of time and energy i spent on my keynote portfolio and site gave me some element of control, as I'd retrained myself to treat it like a regular project and devote the same amount of energy and urgency to it – and that staved off the anxiety.
