    Have any of you known someone who got the virus, and possibly got it bad, and your immediate thought was "but of course that person got it..."

    Just heard of an old acquaintance who is my age that has been in the hospital for 4 weeks.

    When another friend told me, my exact reaction was "of course that guy got it." I'd seen him pop up in political conversations on friends pages and the guy was so far out there in his ideas and apathy, it was just no surprise at all.

    That said, I don't wish this virus on anyone. His whole family got it and were better in 3-5 days; he's been in the hospital for a month.

    • Crazy how it just gets ahold of some people and most everyone else sails through it in a week or so. My wife and I and about 10 others at her work got it...PonyBoy
    • ... it spread among our families — everyone in the households of the employees got sick. Only ONE person at of the 20+ people got 'really' sick and...PonyBoy
